Permit Book organizes your records and sends reminders. It is not legal advice and does not guarantee compliance. Always verify current FMCSA and state requirements.

1. The service

Permit Book is a tool for organizing driver and equipment records and sending reminders about expiration dates. By using it you agree to these terms.

2. Not legal advice, no compliance guarantee

Permit Book does not provide legal advice. It does not guarantee that you meet any regulatory requirement or will pass any audit or inspection. Regulations change; you are responsible for verifying current FMCSA and state requirements.

3. Accounts

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your phone or email. You are responsible for activity under your account and for the accuracy of the information and documents you or your drivers submit. Account owners control who in their company has access.

4. Your data

You keep ownership of the records you upload. You give us permission to store and process them to run the service. See the Privacy Policy for details, including export and deletion.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not upload unlawful content or documents you have no right to hold.
  • Do not attempt to access another company's data or disrupt the service.
  • Do not misuse the service to send unwanted messages.

6. Plans and billing

The Free plan covers a limited number of drivers and trucks. Paid plans are billed per truck per month through our payment processor. If you exceed plan limits, we may pause new uploads after a grace period; you can still view and export your records.

7. Suspension and termination

We may suspend an account for non-payment or abuse. You may stop using the service at any time and request export or deletion of your data.

8. Support access

To resolve support requests, authorized staff may access your account for a limited time after recording a reason. Such access is logged.

9. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided as is, without warranties. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited. Missed or delayed reminders can occur (for example, a message not delivered); do not rely on reminders alone.

10. Changes

We may update these terms and will post the new version here.
